nalgao Local Authority Arts Spending Survey 2008

For the last 4 years nalgao has undertaken this Survey, which has become invaluable in helping to assess the current health of our sector. In previous years the report has been observed at ministerial level by central government and has also featured in various media, planning and policy programmes raising the profile of local authority arts services.

We are repeating the survey again this year and it is vital that we have a good cross-section of responses from you all. We hope to build on the 80 or so councils that returned a completed questionnaire last year, and we would ask you to respond on or before 1st August 2008 with your council's assessment. We invite all authorities to respond, and we particularly would like all of you who returned a questionnaire last year to do so again so that we can compare trends and develop longitudinal studies.
